Oh wow, I already talked about the turtle thing in this thread... what luck!

I'm glad at this point in my life I know that keeping pets (of any kind, but especially exotic ones) is generally just a terrible idea. It's incredible how naive humans are about the matter... it's not the endearing kind of naive, it's a dangerous naivety that steals captive animals' lives. I hate keeping pets, never gonna do it again. If an outdoor cat wanders around and I end up feeding it, fine. Otherwise, not a fucking chance I'll ever do it again.

I think way too much nutritional value is lost when you boil cabbage... the deep purple hue of the water is a testament to that. It's a total waste, no reason to do it.

People who need their cabbage cooked are pussies.
