I've been making ginger water using ginger roots. What I do is go buy some ginger roots at the grocery store, its unbelievable how cheap they are. You will need a cheese grater to grate the root into very fine pieces. Take a large pot and fill it with water and add the ginger you have shredded, then boil the ginger and the water together for 20 minutes. I find this makes a strong ginger brew. Sweeten it with whatever sweetener you wish to use, drinking it without a sweetener is kind of rough.
After it boils 20 minutes I put it in a big plastic jug, add the sweetener and throw it in the fridge,
It tastes great cold. You can drink it hot too.
Ginger is good for your stomach, good for nausea, and it gets rid of inflammation which is mostly what I use it for so if you have arthritis this will help you. Ginger is considered a superfood.
I've been wanting some ginger root so I can make tea with it and also make some of this "Master Tonic"...

Also need some turmeric root.
I can't find it anywhere. You're lucky the stores around you have it, because none of the stores around me seem to have any.

Alright. Now you turn that into a great tea. No excuses!
I will most likely do it tomorrow!
I cut that shit into pieces small enough to fit into my garlic press and extract the juice that way into my lemonades.
I'm curious about garlic and ginger together in a tea...
My curiosity will get the best of me.

I've tried making garlic and ginger tea, I think I did something wrong because it just tasted like water.
I'm about to have my first cup of ginger tea...
It's still too hot to drink but I had a little sip of it and DAMN it's got bite.
I used to pick these mint leaves that grew in the back yard and make tea out of them. It was super strong like Jagermeister, except without the alcohol. I don't know what kind of mint it was, but peppermint tea supposedly has some of the same benefits that the OP ascribes to ginger tea.
