i'm a big fan of birds, particularly listening to them sing in the early mornings. i almost went and got one of those books and binoculars to go bird watching in the parks. i have mourning doves, blue jays, cardinals, wrens, and others frequent my yard. love em, espeically the doves. i can do their calls. that being said, if one falls victim to a cat, that's entirely on the bird. they can fly, cats cannot.

cats are the greatest. i remember one time coming home from work and my cat was out back, under a lawn chair, in the sphinx position with a wren in front of her. she had the most content grin on her face.
