Is to rub the skin down with salt and bake it at 400 for an hour.
The skin becomes sooo crispy and fucking delicious, DON'T EVER cover your potatoes in foil or any kind of BS like that.
Of course baking time can depend on the size of the potato...
But an over-baked potato is ALWAYS better than an under-baked potato.

I just put salt/pepper, butter and parsley on mine. Considering leaving out the butter next time though.
