Rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, avocado, parsley, cilantro, oregano, salt/pepper and olive oil. Sometimes topped with some sour cream.

It's been one of my staple meals for a few years, and I never get tired of it.

I vary the beans, using different types... that's prettymuch the only changeup that ever takes place.

It's really easy and fast. I always keep a pot of cooked rice ready because the rice is the only thing that takes any considerable out time re: meal prep.

Of course other types of greens can be used, with romaine obviously being the best choice re: nutrition and flavor.

I could imagine thinly sliced peppers being super good in it too... I've put them in there cooked before, sauteed with some onion. But that takes more time and to be honest, it's just as good without any of that stuff.
That sounds SOOO good right now. I would totally eat your salad right now.

Well, I'm sitting here scratching my head looking through that list of ingrediments and I don't see no meat anywhere in there. You must serve this rabbit food with like a pound of ground beef right? Or like, as a side for great big ol' aged steak? Oh I know, this must be for Red Beans and Rice with a great big ol' Polska Keilbasa. ;>
Hmmm...

You know what Evan, you raise a very interesting point.

I’ve never incorporated meat into this.

And I wouldn’t.

But perhaps I do need some meat in my life.

I like fish as a preferred meat, stuff makes me go crazy...

Of course I enjoy beef and chicken too, but none of it sets me off like fish.

I just feel like fish is hard to get.

When it comes to pork, I do enjoy ham and bacon, but apparently pork is the worst for you.

Besides, bacon is such a bitch to cook, with so little payoff. There’s never enough.

Ah yes...  The ol' inversely proportional "bacon to satisfaction paradigm".

Expressed thusly; Where the amount of bacon = b and the preparation effort = a and the maximum possible enjoyment is = y

y = ax²+bx+c

For example, f(x)=3x²-2x+8

It's very much similar to chasing the dragon or finding a leprechaun in a tree, -in the hood, -in Chicago.

Or as George Bush once stated so eloquently: "Fool me once..." ...  ... It can't be fooled again."
What's the mathematical formula for the otherwordly, over the top deliciousness and sensuousness of the taste of coffee and bacon together?

There's something nostalgic about it too.

That "Waffle House" feeling.

That "Grandma's House on Saturday Morning" feeling.
