Great post about this, I am having the same reactions to this news! 

Odd is right, she was a pioneer in tarot and in angel channeling. I thought some of her cards were a little simple and clichéd though.

I used to have some of her cards and listen to her podcasts on Hayhouse Radio. 

She was reaching a TON of people with her work and had these retreats in Hawaii that she would do. There were times when I thought she might be a charlatan, but I do think she truly believed in what she was doing too. So weird!

I can't remember the exacts of it [been a few years since I've read it] but
Don Juan told Carlos Castaneda that he had to be very careful in his interactions
with gnats because they were the guardians of the other world. Might have been
just a specific gnat, maybe while Carlos was under the effects of some powerful
plant ally. Like I said, fuzzy on the specifics but I always thought that was kinda
freaky in a "that might actually be true" sorta way.

I know science exists but we as humans really don't know very much about
anything. It's both comical and offensive to even think that we do.

I also know Castaneda was a supposed fraud/crackpot, but his books are
awesome entertainment. I read them as "fiction that could be true/real".

That doesn't surprise me at all.

And gnats, well, they're a nuisance aren't they??

But one day, I looked closer and really observed...

I've never been annoyed by another gnat again, not since I've seen them for what they really are.

I thought I made a post about it on this thread but I actually have seen a few gnats die in the past couple years...

They basically turn upside down and flitter around in circles until they die all the way.

I know it sounds weird, but when you start looking at them SUPER up close, you can tell there's just something more than meets the eye.

They're like... beautiful creatures.

You can't even hear them so they're not annoying like flies are.

There are different kinds of gnats too though... some are bigger than others.

The smaller the gnat, the less annoying they are.

I'm trying to find pics but I feel like none of those gnats are the faery kind.
