The quarantine aboard the Princess is being run by bureaucrats. None of the medical personnel aboard are trained in infection prevention.

There are no separate "green" and "red" zones aboard the ship.

Items are being casually passed between infected passengers and unprotected crew members.

Some health care workers aren't wearing protective gear, and are returning to their hospitals in Tokyo after leaving the ship.

Foreign passengers who have tested positive are being flown home to their native countries.

Dr. Iwata is afraid that the entire city of Tokyo will soon be infected. He's convinced he has been exposed, and has voluntarily quarantined himself at home after leaving the ship to avoid spreading it himself.

I saw a story that was discouraging people from searching for COVID19 information because the results might contain computer viruses.

Apparently, Truth is also quarantined.

It doesn't say anything good about the future of the cruise industry though...

Ol' Matthew Whitebread better hope like hell he gets off that ship to catch his damn flight cuz I guarantee you this guy and his wife thought they'd be getting off and catching a flight too.

But instead now they get to go to a HOSTEL FOR 5 DAYS before finally MAYBE getting transferred to a hospital.
