That is, those beings who are the most passionate and fervent about their desire to come here, grow up, be in Space Force, fly around and bullshit around in space will get to do that, then they'll either die in a fiery crash, or they'll die of old age...

Then sometime after that, there will be total destruction of this planet re: the lifeforms that we currently see here today.

It's not a big deal because since everything is cyclical, there will be life on the planet again eventually, once it's sustainable.

As we know though, eventually earth will be too close to the sun for any of the life as we know it now to actually survive here.

It's all a process.

This doesn't matter to us because we can incarnate on endless planets in endless stages of development... none of this is going to stop us from being born/reborn into a countless procession of lives in an unlimited variety of worlds.

But as for planet Earth specifically, this is the future that I believe lies in wait... and it's as simple as looking at history. The slate has been wiped clean several times in the distant past due to asteroids and other collisions.

That's the whole truth right there, and yeah the details of this latest shitshow we've seen probably will complicate my thought process again in the coming hours/days as this retarded saga plays out, but... really, if I never said anything else about it, the above posted is all that would need to be said.

Someone I respect a lot and who is very knowledgeable about Artificial Intelligence, says that it's much further along than the general public realizes. He said within 5-10 there will be massive unemployment and disruption because of it. It looks like this could be some sort of forced austerity plan in preparation for these disruptions. I do wonder of this was planned all along or governments were taken by surprise by the virus. It seems like an extraordinarily coordinated response. It appears they want to shut down international travel in a big way. Everything will be done via video conferencing etc. My wife is already working from home, she was told that she can work from home until June! She thinks the whole thing is some sort of pilot for things to come. I agree with the school situation. Do we really need brick/mortar schools anymore, save for babysitting?

I think the move over to online school, work, etc. is going to be permanent. And really, I have no problem with that. As I've said several times in this thread, moving over to online work/school is the way it should be/the way of the future, I just wish they hadn't chosen this particular scenario to make the change.
