They knew fiat was over before the early 2010s, and that money and things of excess (i.e., not food or other basic necessities) would be digital in the future.
Everything is going to be revalued and peoples' interests (things they like to 'own' and collect) will shift around.
I am fearful but.
Government is far to dumb to do anything.
Or they themselves are the ones controllin the crypto

Some of the problems with this can be mitigated by replicating digital items in real life... there must be a balance.
This is why I think NFTs are kinda cool. Right now all the NFT rage surrounds digital art, but I think the real use of it is to tie physical items (artwork etc.) into the digital system.

We can't just go all digital and let things only exist behind all the trappings of technology.
We need to be able to hold things and study them up close, in physical reality.
Virtual reality will never satiate or be a real solution to this natural need/requirement.
I believe we will have serious deflation before the end of 2022.
There will be a global debt cancellation orchestrated by the central bankers because they fear for their own safety. You cannot have this continued rampant rise in property values, food inflation while 80% of the people are in over their noggins financially. All assets will crash except cash...sounds crazy right now but its the only safe exit for the elites.

I dunno, I just feel like colonizing Mars is so lackluster and dumb.
I guess it wouldn't be that bad if you liked the desert...
But Mars is like an entire planet of Nevada, not really very much Utah or Arizona thrown in there.
Not that appealing for people who enjoy ocean or forests.
The desert does make for the best driving (to a good soundtrack) though and I suppose that would be pretty cool.
No truck stops, rest areas, or any other fun places to go though, not on Mars.
