I've been wanting to try this for a LONG time...
http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ree-d...ug-3158576
And honestly, I feel like I actually have tried it before, but I just don't remember. Which is kinda concerning. Anyway!
I didn't really think it was going to turn out right...
But it did. It really did.
It really, really did.
And I've almost eaten the whole thing and now I'm disgusted with myself. ROFL!
But I had milk AND coffee with it. The coffee tastes the best with it, I mean damn. Blown away.
So in the future I would probably make the 'healthy' version of this, which would use legit cacao and not the Hershey's brand lie of cacao... theirs is actually cocoa, but they put "cacao" on the front label which I think is really terrible, especially when it just says "cocoa" on the ingredients list.
Apparently this (Arriba cacao) is some of the best cacao you can get: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DV54EJY
This article explains all the benefits of cacao: https://draxe.com/cacao-nibs/
So this is a recipe that could be considered not so 'sinful' if that kind of cacao was used, and if you used coconut oil. There's no good way to put sugar in it... but you could use natural cane sugar or coconut sugar, which are at least not as bad as bleached sugar. I used brown sugar tonight. I got all excited and desperate (bad combo)!
It was actually really enjoyable, but once you get toward the bottom of the cup, it's like yeaaah... I'm good for like a year.
It was really fun to try.
