Sure does look like 'Shadow People'...

https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Shadow_people

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadow_person

I've long held the theory that shadow people are interdimensional beings, and either it's their job/duty to watch us sleep, or observing our sleep is their version of the dreamworld.

Others have speculated that the shadow people are merely humans in top secret programs which utilize tech to travel through the earthly realm. Specifically, the one known as 'Tophat Guy' is said to be this type of shadow person...

Now I can't speak on Tophat Guy, but I can speak on generally human looking shadowy figures and I really do get the feeling that they don't occupy this earthly plane with us, and that they are only able to observe us when we are in the 'in between' stage of sleeping. It seems like their kind has figured this out... they take advantage of those times when the veil is its thinnest, and they observe humans.

I will say this though...

In regards to the Horseshoe Canyon Great Gallery, some of those 'figures' look like vessels. Some of them look like bottles. In my opinion.

But this one...

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c...Middle.jpg

Without a doubt the most interesting segment. To the left there appears to be a herd of some type of animals, with two human figures to their right which appear to be running away.

Many of the large figures in this picture look like portals. The one in the middle is depicted with an energy field at its sides. The 'portal' to the right of that one appears to be sucking a human looking figure into it (or ejecting one).

Most interesting in my opinion is one of the smallest, toward the upper middle left you see a 'portal' which appears to be fading, with the figure which seemingly stepped through the portal just in front of it (and two other figures to the right). It looks like the 'portal'/veil is even parted where the figure just stepped through. Very fascinating... the portal is depicted as dematerializing.

Are these depictions of interdimensional beings, possibly the ones known as shadow people? Are they aliens, or other beings which have the ability to spawn portals they can use to manifest into this dimension?

Or did somebody just have a hard-on for ominous looking bottles?!

Check out the third from the left...

Looks like that bottle has a different kind of cap than all the others.

Maybe somebody found a garbage dump from a past civilization and they had all kinds of weird bottles in there they'd never seen before and they started worshiping them or something.

Kinda like the idea that human civilizations keep rising and falling and doing the same things over and over again...

Reminds me of this:

Regardless of the validity of the story, the principle is the same.

Those are pretty cool lookin´ figures. They give off an "alien visitor" type of vibe. Although they´re probably more likely out of someones imagination rather than IRL. Which kinda sucks. Imagine if things like that actually showed up. You´d be like... "Hey!.... Uhm... Do you drink coffee?".

An other-worldly visitor of some sort... I definitely agree.

I dunno man... the livestock and shepherds running thing kinda gives it a 'historical recounting' sorta feel IMO.

Like some kind of invasion happened.

You gotta look at where this is...

The Canyonlands and all surrounding areas are home to epic weirdness...

There have been many stories of "alien" encounters relating to the Four Corners area.

That entire part of the west is steeped in tales of these kind of encounters throughout the millennia, even current day.

it's the ant-people / mantis-people the hopi and other western tribes spoke of. they don't look like those outlines in the cave paintings, those are like clothes/suits. they're not so good on the surface. i've heard some of the others can't stand the nitrogen in our atmosphere.

I mean let's be honest...

A lot of these ancient peoples were probably tripping hard on drugs.

Like...

Those psychedelic experiences would be the closest thing to an alien visitation, or any glimpse 'beyond' that you would ever get.
