Utah and New Mexico are tied. Visit: Utah. Live in: New Mexico. RE: 8,000 miles round-trip... - MrFungi - 08-30-2018 (08-30-2018, 07:14 PM)MO Wrote: 16 days... What about Mormons? They come to my door and I say im not interested they say "Do you know anyone who is" I mean wtf? RE: 8,000 miles round-trip... - Mister Obvious - 08-30-2018 No. RE: 8,000 miles round-trip... - Kitty - 08-31-2018 (08-30-2018, 07:14 PM)MO Wrote: 16 days... That's a long time! Did you camp, stay in motels/hotels, or with friends/family? I have been to Utah a few times before to ski, but have never been there in the summer. I definitely noticed the Mormon presence. New Mexico is lovely, I agree!! MO are you going to move there?? RE: 8,000 miles round-trip... - Mister Obvious - 08-31-2018 I wouldn’t mind moving to NM. I got a couple hotels in Colorado but that was it... I slept in the vehicle and prefer it to hotel rooms. It is very comfortable and I do not need all the facilities. I find it very easy to live without the running water and the other trappings. RE: 8,000 miles round-trip... - Mister Obvious - 08-31-2018 The only thing that matters re: vehicle dwelling is temperature. Anything above 80 isn’t comfortable for sleeping... if it’s too hot, I will not allow myself to lose consciousness. So you see, it’s about finding the right temperature/locale. My car I used to take the bottom back seat out it came out with clips. And put the back seats down opening to the trunk, and fit a single foam matress, so my head was like where the back seat is the legs in the trunk. It was quite comfortable for weekends. Better than the back seat where I had to put my feet up or out the window. RE: 8,000 miles round-trip... - Mister Obvious - 08-31-2018 There’s a legit bed in my car. More comfortable than the one I sleep on at home. RE: 8,000 miles round-trip... - Mister Obvious - 08-31-2018 Yeah I’m like 5’4” so I fit easy. RE: 8,000 miles round-trip... - Mister Obvious - 08-31-2018 I think living in houses is the wrong thing to do. RE: 8,000 miles round-trip... - Mister Obvious - 08-31-2018 Feels wrong. Living in houses sucks I mean you are living on a peice of land, in a box. What is the difference to living on many peices of land in a box? Not much. There’s a clear winner here, and it ain’t living in a house. |
