So, i havent posted in a while. Let me tell you a little story...

Let me set the mood. Depressed. I just finished a 60k job. Growing up in extreme poverty...this is major. I disconnect. I sit at a bar, jim beam neat. Is it going to be Asia...Europe...nope. i choose Colombia. If you ever want to die, go to a place like that. Who would question anything? 
After a blackout night i start getting confirmations on my trip....what the fuck!!?? I need hydration. What did i do?...
 Flying into an unfamilar country you wonder why...everyone i know says dont go. Logic agrees. Yet here i stand...flying into Colombia direct flight. Expectations...none. i left all my friends. Mad. 
When i arrive in Bogota, it becomes real. Im here for a month. Fuck. Im commited. No one knows me. No one cares. It feels fantastic. Ive thrown myself in the frying pan. Its oddly warm and comforting. It is different traveling abroad..its not like the states. The PC bullshit is just not there. Reality sinks in. Have I bit off more than i can chew?....tune in folks...it gets juicy

So...i shuffle to the money exchange. Fuuuuck yeah, we are trading 330k per US 100. I run 600k in pesos. Its gonna be a long trip. First off, uber is ILLEGAL. you can order it, but, the cops catch you its gonna be a shakedown. You ride in the front. I get in Bogota at midnight. I catch a ride. Heading to Calle 13. We zip through the night jamming reggaeton full throttle. I get to my destination.....and.....they didnt have my reservation. Its 1am, in a Colombian favella. I cant help but laugh,this is full on fuckery. A little old lady comes outside and motions to me. She has vacancy. In a hamock. For 2 dollars. Im auper pumped at this point. This is hour 1. The beginning lol
