China's rise is due in large part to theft of American intellectual property. China couldn't compete on a level playing field. Now President Trump and the DOJ are working aggressively to halt China's espionage activities.

I could see the US and Russia mending their relationship and working together. The FBI under Trump shared information about an ISIS terrorist cell in Russia with Russian intelligence, which allowed them to avert an attack. I think Trump and Putin are both amenable to cooperation. The "Russian collusion" shit show was the only thing holding them back.
