The chicken strips are precooked. They're firm and bland. I need them to shred easily for chicken salad. Giving them a little flavor doesn't hurt either.

Just had a thought: Soak in whatever liquid you choose overnight in the
fridge and THEN boil/heat it up! Boom! Extra flavor! I know some people might
say "Duh, dummy, that's just a marinade" but it can be in whatever kind of liquid
type infusion you choose: stock, broth, whatever. Sure, it's best when things go in
raw [especially meats] but even already cooked stuff can benefit from an overnight
soak.

out of the brining mixture, then re-season, and cook it how I want; usually fried.

You need to neck it down quick or your blood sugar will lose your motivation.
Whack some spinach rice chicken into a bowl make it cooked scoff it down you will be oomff.

Yeah, it's a mandatory for great fried chicken imo.

I usually put a little Louisiana hot sauce in my brine.

So true about making great chicken that way. 

There's an OUTSTANDING chicken place I absolutely love here, it's not expensive and soooo good but not fried. 
Rotisserie chicken done over various types of wood right in front of you...kinda. The sides are big and the little space
it occupies is a little swank despite it's commercial feel. It's called Cowboy's Chicken. You might like it; you'd love it
if you like rotisserie style cooking of chicken. 

I usually get two sides, fried okra and mashed potatoes but their other sides are super tasty too. 

There's not a lot here; I hope they grow. They really deserve to be tasted everywhere because they're so inexpensive! 

Also the clientele and employees are of a very chill demographic.

That's some good chicken too! I worked at a KFC when I was a kid and
not long into my employment there we got a brand new rotisserie cooker.

Man, I love me some fried chicken but that rotisserie stuff was damn near just
as good! Early 90's KFC, so it hadn't totally gone down the pisser quite yet.
