It's especially bad when it's dude YouTubers who show off their girlfriends. 

I'm sorry but it SLAUGHTERS the ladyboners in your audience and dramatically lessens interest in your channel.

There are exceptions to every rule of course... it's not ALWAYS a death knell.

But it usually is. LOL! Especially if your channel didn't start out with you having a girlfriend and forcing her on your damn audience.

It's probably a bummer when chick YouTubers show off their BFs too, but for some reason I don't think it's AS bad.

That said, it does annoy me... it straight up does annoy me when a chick YouTuber is all talking about her BF, or showing her BF, or worst of all, she's being filmed by her BF. 

I notice that I lose interest in even the chick channels that do this. Wow.

What does that say about human nature? I really don't know...

All I know is, don't show off your significant other in your videos. Nobody fricken cares.

People come to your channel to watch you, and it's a bucket of icewater over the head whenever significant others are brought into the picture... it's bad for business, just stop. Don't.

I found her vids a few weeks back I guess.

I watched like 2 of her videos before I ran into one showing her boyfriend, and he was filming her, and he was driving...

And I just IMMEDIATELY lost all interest in her.

For real.

Here's a good example of what I'm talking about from her channel...

The thumbnail ALONE. Like I don't even know if that's her BF, I mean that sounds dumb to say, but I GUESS it is?? I dunno, I didn't watch the video so I dunno if that guy is even in it.

But it's just... agh. Not hot at all.

It RUINS EVERYTHING.

Baffling? I guess, that SO many people capture their EVERY FUCKING minute 
of life on film or photo and put it on the internet. I mean, I've seen it happening
now for a long ass time but it doesn't get any less weird. Why would people want to
do that? It's just so foreign to what I remember the 90's being. Those were awesome
times! No social media, no cell phones [not like now, mostly business folk] and yet
people lived and got by and seemed pretty happy. Hmph.
