Islands are good for some things, but not for everything.
I want an island too.
But my idea of a good island is way different than yours.
Zane loves Alaska ultimately, that's his version of a great island situation.
*shrug*
He is probably right.
But I don't agree about it, just the same as I don't agree with you about Fiji, et al.
We all want a different island.

And some people DON'T want an island.
I kind of agree with those people too.
I'd probably choose the desert.
It's most likely to become an island again at some point in the future.

I've seen the REALLY really smart people choosing the desert.
But then as a wildcard some of them went with Australia.
Which if you think about it, there's desert there too.
So anywhere in the world with desert is key.

I guess it makes sense now why some of the elite have been migrating to these whack places.

Some places are just superior to others. Probably would wanna be in south America.

But you guys can have it if you want it.
I guess somebody's gotta. You need someone to take you to a pretty place where there's LOTS of water.
You can have it both ways Mo. Lake Havasu, etc. Desert and big water...just not
as pretty as those blue green aqua waters off the coast of Newfoundland.
Or...
Chill. In an Antarctic summer down there in a connected series of bunkers and research stations.
You could make sandwiches for the scientists. Those pretty clear nights with those stars and only the
howl of wind.
Not a very habitable place for humans at all. We did it though. This is how to "live on the moon."

0:17 holy shit look how baller the first ever penny was.
So much cooler than the modern bullshit, so much more interesting.
The super old coins are the only ones I care about.
Unless it's a 1 oz copper coin, then I'll take it no matter what.

Sounds like living in the Texas wilderness is not that great.
Zane is the shit man, it's always blown my mind how he makes such great videos with nothing but a stupid little cellphone.
As a general rule, I fucking hate mobile devices because they're so tiny, there's no physical keyboard, there's just no way to use them like a real computer... way too frustrating to use for any type of serious work.
Yet Zane demonstrates the usefulness and adequacy of even a cheap WalMart phone. It's honestly amazing. These mobile devices are great for making videos (with some free apps available on the app store) that don't require all that much editing.
I made all my travel vids with a cheap phone... not even my main phone, I got a dedicated phone solely for filming. And not only did it work and was great... but I found it very arousing and satisfying too. Without Zane showing us what was possible, I would have never even tried this method.
0:18 Zane sounds all swollen and fucked up. I think surviving in a climate that causes so much sweat and moisture loss will take a toll on his ravishing beauty after a while. Hopefully he'll go somewhere else if he's gonna live outside. Zane going and being homeless in Texas wasn't exactly the idea.
0:40 aww, his shirt's ripped, poor thing!
4:45 yeah, the solar/battery issue is a huge problem.
You gotta basically be somewhere that is pretty much always sunny, and has a great signal. Not many places that have those features... but we've seen Zane do it before.
6:30 he said he threw up, which just dehydrates and fucks you up more than you already are, so...
I think the whole Texas wilderness survival thingy is a fail and he just needs to do something else.
He probably needs to get out of Texas if he's gonna live outside... that or stay with somebody there. No idea.
The thing about Zane is that at any given point in time there are SEVERAL people who would invite him to come and stay with them...
Dudes, chicks, everybody. Probably people from all walks of life.
Zane never HAS to be out there homeless/alone... he chooses it.
We've seen it work out for him in the past way better than this 7 day TX survival challenge has.

Zane doesn't have to be in Texas anymore...
He's free to go whenever he wants.

I recommend he practices a lot of self-control with where he chooses to go though.
There's little left to save him if he chooses to go down a dark path.
He ain't getting any younger either...
He needs to find a serious way to survive in the wilderness if he's gonna choose this outdoors life.
Maybe he really should just go full-on cowboy...
I mean, those guys survived pretty well back in the day.
The whole traveling vast distances thingy though... I dunno. He should find a few places where it really works, where he really is able to survive in the wilderness.
No extremes, not too cold... not too hot. Civilization nearby enough, but just far away enough.
He should stay the fuck away from Mexico at all costs... leads to nothing but death.
Zane is stuck in America and he should accept it... he deserves this.
No offense intended if you read this Zane... but you know it's true.
He's probably back here due to another life when he wasn't able to do right by himself either.
He needs to find a place where he can actually survive in the wilderness without having to deal with extremes.
Surely he must know a place like that and/or be able to do research about it.
If I was him, I think that'd be the goal...
Just find out where you can survive better.
