This is a decent groove.

As far as vocal prowess and singing live...

Who gives a fuck.

If Naomi can be made to sound just right on recordings, live performances don't matter...

Performing live is not important anymore...

Music videos are important.

On this performance it seems like they're singing over backing tracks...

Not entirely singing but not lipsynching either.

It's a good fusion of the two concepts, there's nothing wrong with what they're doing here...

But I don't think much emphasis needs to be put on live performances for Naomi, unless they are performances put on for the purpose of having that "live venue" appearance.

Let me touch on this sort of off topic trend though...

There is a big trend (especially on YouTube) of bands putting up pre-recorded, totally fabricated 'concerts'/live performances at intimate venues, and calling them "live" performances anyway. This is a VERY undesirable thing, a very bad trend, will not last... don't do it.

Music videos.

Just make music videos.

This is a lot of free advice, but I'm gonna continue anyway because I really like Naomi.

It doesn't matter how long or short the songs/music videos are.

Aesthetics are what matter the most, and Naomi would know that better than most people because she's been doing the Instagram thing for so long.

The key is to remember that Naomi is totally perfect... there is nothing about Naomi that isn't perfect. Her sound, her appearance, everything. She's totally perfect and can essentially do no wrong...

So when/if something goes wrong on a shoot (especially one that is arranged by someone other than Naomi), it is not Naomi's fault. The fault lies elsewhere. It's either the director, the camera person, the weather, the set, or some other issue besides Naomi.

As it pertains to Naomi, even down to what she's wearing... there can be no problem, nothing can go wrong, it can't be anything besides perfect. If anything goes wrong, it is someone or something else's fault.

This is why it'd be best if Naomi just made her own music videos and didn't bother with having other people help her. If she needs someone else's help to film (which shouldn't really ever be necessary), it needs to be somebody like her boyfriend or someone else who's known her for a long time. But again I advise her just to do it herself.

Even if Naomi were to work alone, she would have to remember just like everyone else that if anything goes wrong, it's not because of her... it's because of some other element of the shot, like lighting, the set, the camera position, etc.

I have a lot of experience filming myself, photoshoots, videos, shoots specifically for the purpose of making GIFs. It IS possible to film/edit all your own material. The result is something which is totally uniquely your own, and a testament to your own style 100%.

I have found that in some cases, having someone else take photos of you or film you can work too, but only if they've known you for a long time.

I know she writes in English on her Insta, but I don't know if I've ever heard her straight up have a convo in English before.

I'm pretty stoked, she has a lovely voice and she's absolutely adorable!

It always hits me how freaking cool Naomi and her friends are, it's really such a badass style scene.

The greatest clothes and just so fun.

Naomi's the coolest of them all though, guaranteed, and she's so obviously a Scorpio!

I've learned that Scorpio chicks are usually super mysterious and kind of edgy, but it's just their nature... I love it!

All her features are totally unique, unmistakable... like you could NEVER not recognize her.

THAT'S what it takes to have global stardom, for real. Not that ridiculous amounts of fame should be the goal or whatever, but.

Hell, if you can do it, why not do it? And Naomi can do it for sure.

I don't really care about the music and the singing though, like I'm stoked that she's talented and can do that...

But I personally care about the whole style and aesthetics aspect of Naomi's righteous existence.

There seem to be a lot more videos of her (and Wean) than there used to be, so maybe they ARE getting more popular.

I hope so.

But until I see some badass, baller music videos out of Naomi, I am not gonna be satisfied.

So what I will say to Naomi is this...

Lana Del Rey started out making admittedly cringey self-made music videos on her YouTube channel, and look at her today.

She looked gorgeous in those videos. But the editing was a lil bit whack. Look at her now.

So yeah, it can be done, and for somebody like Naomi, it'd probably be pretty damn easy.

There are plenty of different routes you can take.

You can self-make your videos and maybe someday if you want, you can work with a whole crew.

Or you can hold out, and hope that you can start off working with a crew (if that's what you want) and never make your own videos at all.

To me, it seems much too risky to hold out and wait for some kind of insane quality production.

I say, start now making your own music videos, and work up to other goals if you feel the need to someday.

And look at all the people there, tons of crew.

My point is that all that stuff really isn't necessary in order to make visually pleasing material.

You don't need a crew, or even the best camera.

There's magic all around just waiting to be captured...

This is such a treat! I really appreciate her sharing in English because the whole world needs to get to know her and it really helps to hear her in a language we can understand.

She's so pretty and really adorable, I love her friendly personality.

I love her accent. Her English is great, I wonder where she learned to speak fluent English?

I think she's of Eastern European ancestry somewhere in her family too because I definitely hear a touch of a European accent. I think it may be on the paternal side.

It's really fascinating, I think Naomi is so fun and interesting and I really hope she makes more videos.
