Last night I unplugged my refrigerator so I could record some acoustic guitar and I forgot to plug it back in. 10 hours off and I tossed most of the food.
So pissed. I'd just gotten groceries that day.

So I'm off to harbor freight to pick up some moving blankets. I need to section off my fridge so it doesn't get picked up on mics.

I need to section off my fridge so it doesn't get picked up on mics.

I didn't think about this, but I guess reverb off stuff in the room could be a big problem, that's interesting. It's also something an artist could experiment around with.

I'm kind of interested in the concept of experimental music lately too, kind of OT but since we're talking about music I thought I'd share. It's sorta crazy cuz I've always thought experimental music was just weird, but now I'm kind of feeling like it's just audio abstract art.

I'm working hard to clean all of these up and to get vocals on some of those. Really close though. Today I'm mixing one of them, which takes me forever.

Yeah - the environment with the refrigerator running was getting into the mics and you could hear it in quiet parts. I live in a trailer, so that's how it goes. lol.

Today is kind of a lazy-ass day for me though. Drinking coffee and soaking my nails off at the moment so I can redo them for work tomorrow. I wish I didn't have to work so I could put in the time needed to get this done.

When it's all done I'll make it downloadable.

for me, I have to be in a mood for that kind of thing, but I do like listening to more experimental stuff sometimes.
