That doesn't equal "We're going to live in outer space".

I don't think Alex totally understands that space is not the new frontier... for many reasons, humans living in space isn't possible or sustainable to any degree worth mentioning.

For some reason i missed this post. I think that one day we could live in space. Not a crazy idea to think that in a few hundred years or more that we could have ships that could sustain long term life in space.
Maybe from here to saturn where we would mine asteroids. There is a show that started last winter, the name escapes me right now but ill find it. It looks like what could be a somewhat realistic far future.
I don't think it would be for everyone but for people willing to work out there. I'm not saying it will be like star trek right away but i do think it would be the possible start of occupying space.

I really should have expounded on my own opinion about this, but I posted the thread kinda hastily just as I was listening to the show.
Here is what I think...
Interstellar travel is not possible because different stars emit entirely different particles. Beyond the magnetic field of a system's own star, there's nothing but dead space. The star system is like a bubble, and everything inside is powered by the particles of the sun. Different star systems' particles are incompatible.
Likewise, in every planet is a core that can essentially be thought of as a miniature sun. That's what it is. It's a tiny piece of sun. It has its own magnetic field, the earth's magnetosphere for example. The lifeforms which come to exist on each heavenly body do so with the elements present in the point at which they reside. For example, today's human is a surface creature, it's come to exist on the surface. The relationship with the surface and the sun, the relationship with the surface and all the surrounding elements. These relationships are precise in what they form. Humans can't exist up in the sky because the air gets too thin, they can't exist deep in the earth because it's too hot. They're lifeforms equipped for surface existence.
Therefore, they are not equipped to live in space. The farther away from their native position in the earth's magnetic field (and also the relation between that field and the sun's magnetic field), the harder it is for them to survive. There are so many threats to them in space. There's no surviving without machinery and special materials, and these materials and machines are ultimately fragile, doomed to fail because of the severity of conditions in space and on other planets.
Where humans cannot live naturally... they will not live. They will stagnate and decay, whether they "survive" for any period of time or not.

I know that certain stars emit different particles like red dwarfs and neutron and the ones that supernova emit xray and radiation that nothing could survive but a star the same size as the sun would emit the same light waves. It mostly matters on the heat the star produces. Its been a while since i read up on it and im no expert but i think there are stars that produce the same particles.
Interstellar would be a rediculous ifea anyways considering even if we found a perfect match of a star then gettingbthere would be impossible even traveling at light speed. There is also a million things that could go wrong. So i think you are correct.
I wouldnt mind going out into space though. I signed up a while back on this site to be a person to go to mars if ever we went. Now i know its more of a joke and it wint happen in my lifetime at least not colonizing mars. We may send a few astronauts in the next 20 years.
I would totaly go if it was a real thing. Ive been a loner pretty much all my life and im not exactly sure i would miss anyone here.
Talking about missing anyone, i tried to talk to my sister and her boyfriend again but it went south wicked fast. Her bf insulted me and i threatened him with bodily injury cause hes a little bitch and all because i was trying to have a normal talk with them. He hates me and brainwashes my sister cause hes a super libtard. Ive told you all this before. So thats over for good and i dont care. Anyways i was and still am a huge space and science fan but i need to catch up and re learn some things.

People with no family to speak of, no kids etc are great candidates for off world colonization. It's a pointless death mission though. Humans need to fix the problems on earth instead of just running away. Wanting to colonize space when we don't even know what's at the depths of our own oceans is the perfect example of that human greed which always leads to disaster.

It might be a pointless death mission but ide take the chance not because i care much about colonization but out of curiosity. It's something ide like to see for myself. Unfortunatley it wont happen and i am stuck here as prisoner of planet earth with super important morons like shia labuttplug thinking they rule the world.

But ive had wierd coincidences before. I get deja vu sometimes and its real strong and accurate and actually a few times it really creeped me out.
This happened with my sister one time and she kind of got mad cause she wouldnt believe me. I never not even once ever meet her boyfriend( i have two sisters and this isnt the ones that wont talk to me anymore) .
so i was in her car with het and we were going to the movies and i told her exactly what she was about to tell me wuch was that her and her boyfriend got in a fight cause he went to some club. Anyways i never meet him and she knows that but it was hard for her to believe that i knew the story.
Another time, last may, i went to whats called steange creek campout. Its like a tiny version of woodstock.
So this girl was in her tent next to me and my friend. And i got the weird feeling and i turned to my friend and said " that chick us guna cone over her and ask for socks" he laughed and said why the fuck would she do that? She dont know us.. Well about one minute later she came out and adked us if we haf socks she could have. My friend freaked out and ran off down the path and after another minute he came back and told her the story. But it dont end there.
She was about to ask me something but i already knew cause i totally saw this happen before as clear as day. So i told her what she was going to ask me wich was would i wait at her tent for her friend to bring her liquer cause she was going to go to the porta john wich was about a five minut walk away. Nut i kinda got scared cause it wouldnt stop and i thought i was loosing my mind. I knew everythig, Like a whole minute worth of her dialog.
I even knew that the liquer she was getting was gross a shit but i couldnt remember the name until she told me. It was liquorice flavor rum or some shit.so it freaked me out and gave me a massive panic attack. Anyways this dont happen often and when it does its usually useless info.

Dude how fucking weird. Sounds like synchronicity with a dose of psychic communication. You referred to it as "useless info"... but here's what I think. Synchronicity happens to signal place markers. We're constantly switching timelines in this reality. When you get off on an exit to the next destination (which mostly always takes place subconsciously in day-to-day life), there are all kinds of signs noting which way is which, how far you are away from the next place, etc. That's what these strange and seemingly pointless happenings really are. We may not consciously realize the significance, but subconsciously, I believe we do.

Currently working on watching this... it's a long one though. Apparently Alex talks about the universe etc., so I am interested to see if I disagree with him on anything, because I usually don't. Aside from humans living off-planet, there's nothing I've really disagreed with him on.

It just gives such a good example of how out of synch and totally misplaced humanity is in space.
If you think about this view of the solar system...
It's so easy to see how an out of place element, like humans in space, is out of synch with the entire process. That kind of imbalance won't be tolerated. The only reason manned missions have been successful is because they're small scale. A couple humans, whatever. It's skirting the edge, it's not enough to cause a serious adjustment. The more they do it though, the more necessary an adjustment will become. Adjustments are fast too, I would guess space debris/meteors would be the tools. Kind of in line with my theory about asteroids being almost 'magnetically' drawn to impact the earth when things get too far out of balance on the planet.
