Yeah, it's pretty fucking sad.

I have been coming to terms with the truth about it all for a while now.

It's hard to accept but once it's done, I think we'll be new people.

One way or another, we'll be transformed.

It's hard not to be filled with bitterness and hatred, but I realize that it's a step in the process now.

Getting hung up on any of the steps keeps us from learning the lesson and fully transforming because of it.

People "help" you because there's something in it for them.

There are no exceptions.

They've heard your cries... there's just nothing they want from you.

This is humanity.

You can tell me there are exceptions all day and night, but I'm not going to believe it.

I think we should ALL prepare ourselves, early on in life, for that time when we will need help but no one will be able to benefit from helping us.

Not to mention, some people show a complete lack of gratitude when you help them. That tends to put people off from helping in general.

As bad as things are at present - they're only going to get worse.
Those who are dishonest, callous and abusive will become more so.
Our future will not be kind. Dark, lonely and spread very thin.

Hold close to those you value.
