According to some information I run across years ago, the lowly television set

the 40's? When it "failed" they just decided to use it to broadcast "programming".

They're functionality for all the scanning/tracking they do on your face, environment etc., but that's just what is easily provable.

I also keep my raisins and chocolate bars in them.

Yeah I have various kinds... some of them are just for blocking out signals, and others are for full on EMP protection. Freezers, refrigerators, microwaves... got 'em all.

Never throw away an old microwave... they're too useful. I've heard of people cutting the cord off so that there's no confusion about it in the future though lol. I've even read that you're supposed to bury the cut off cord stub in the ground for extra protection, but I haven't messed around with all that. No one is gonna be plugging my doomsday microwaves in, so I don't have to worry about it.
