Apparently Claire wants all of Elon's babychildren to be a big happy family and hasn't been in contact with Zilis, Elon's other babymomma (she has some of his twins).
She says they've now made contact and ironed out some misunderstandings and can proceed with being peaceful Elon sisterwives and raise all his children together.

Grimes shouldn't be insecure over Zilis though. Claire will always be Elon's greatest babymomma, it doesn't matter who comes along in the future, or who else there has been in the past. Claire gave us Elon's replacement, none of the others did that. And even if X doesn't replace Elon someday, he's still Elon's most famous kid and he's obviously his favorite. Grimes should just sit back and relax and consider whether she wants to keep cucking herself to the world's richest man, or if 3 is enough.

Elon must think people care a whole lot more about the site than they actually do.
It'll become an echo chamber of people who are obsessed with it enough to pay.
This opens up the door for the platform to be replaced by a new and better site.
Pretty amazing how one incredibly stupid decision can change the course of things that had been going really well previously, lmao.

Most things of import have always been uploaded/posted elsewhere anyway.
Linking to it on Twitter was merely handy.
Behind a paywall, it will be entirely useless.

Seems like there is no road that doesn't lead to a Twitter replacement coming on the scene now.
They must intend to make a lot more features for X and the "message board" (lmfaooo) aspect of it will be absolute backburner in the new format.
So the original idea behind Twitter will be replaced by a new site.
Doesn't matter to me, I never used it anyway.
I just think he would have been much better off never rebranding Twitter and just leaving it as it was, making X its own stand-alone site.

For some reason, he thought he needed the existing traffic of Twitter in order for X to be successful. The damage this move will do to the platform will make it as if he never acquired the Twitter traffic to begin with.

It's such an abysmally horrible idea that it almost seems like a purposeful destruction of the platform. Which TBH, it kind of deserves, because the content is mostly crap. It's just a bunch of stupid random half-baked thoughts from people who won't be willing to pay in order to share those thoughts. There are plenty of other ways to share that banal dogshit and they don't cost anything.

Hosting your own site would literally be cheaper than paying to post on X... truth.
It's already close as far as cost.
If they put the whole thing behind a paywall, the price of a basic verification subscription will go up as well.
Add in the high odds of being banned/removed if you go against the grain, and you may as well flush that money down the toilet.
Not worth it whatsoever.
