I feel like I've made a thread about this before.
There should be car-to-car communication so you can talk to the person behind you...
Like "Hey man, sorry I'm going kinda slow behind this guy, but he's a total fucking idiot and I've seen him do some really stupid shit, so I'm just being cautious!"
"Wanna fuck?"

Sorry i must not agree here and I will quote JUDGE JUDY : " do not even make eye contact with the other driver , you hear me ! "
I mean if we all had bullhorns on our cars imagine the amount of cringe and shame inflicted all over the place , there are too many low intellect people to handle the responsibility of proper bullhorn edicate.

Ah I agree, you never make eye contact... you do not want shit getting awkward on the roadway.
Inevitably car-to-car comms would definitely result in a lot of altercations...
And illegitimate pregnancies.

I've actually thought that exact same thing before, Trix.
I was thinking it could be like a wifi connection and have limited range.... just for cars near you.
Great minds think alike.
That would be cool if the cars automatically connected when in range and popped up on the navigation screen in your car... with an icon of the car so you'd know which ones are what, and the driver's "handle"

I remember when we used to use CB radios in the 70s. They were super popular. This would be the modern day version.

Yeah and the CB radio was mostly for truckers...
And there's a huge in-group preference with truckers, I mean I doubt they ran into too many personality contests among each other and there was likely an almost 'biker' sort of herd mentality with them I am sure, which prevented most conflict.
It wouldn't be the same with regular drivers. It would be a lot more likely to cause incidents...
But I think we need some excitement anyway.

Tons of regular people had CBs in their cars. We'd talk to each other on trips. I used them a lot when I was a kid. Lots of people even had home base station CBs.
There used to be only 24 channels and the truck drivers would be on channel 19. Channel 9 was reserved for emergencies.
There were no cell phones and people had these for safety reasons when they traveled. Super popular.
lol Smart Traffic, yes car to car communication in the background and foreground, I still think we should have an interactive window on vehicles. Your vehicle can have a tour mode guiding you through relevant information related to your driving location.

most of the newer cars offer bluetooth pairing for your phone. it is possible to forcibly pair a device to their system allowing you to speak to them through their car speakers.
