I feel like this doesn't happen until they're at least 40.
Seems like at that point they either go Asian and land a far-eastern lady who doesn't speak their language...
Or they go for younger chicks who maybe aren't the best looking, but they aren't ugly, and they're significantly less intelligent.
Homely doesn't even necessarily mean ugly... it just means, not stellar hot, and maybe even just super plain, and at least fairly intelligent.

This question occurred to me whilst browsing YouTube and looking at all the thumbnails of women who have tried extremely hard to look attractive, a pound of makeup, and bunch of fake hair and nails etc. And they may even be hot and have nice bodies or something but... I can easily imagine getting very tired of them, very quickly.

Now, on the other hand, if you find a really hot chick who also tingles those deep psychological parts of your brain that otherwise stay untouched by shallow lust... That´s something completely fucking different.
