it's extremely easy to know when people talk about guns, but don't actually have any experience or knowledge about them. bump stocks are stupid. fully automatic weapons are very niche, require stabilization in order to maintain accuracy, and require specialized hardware to not literally melt within minutes as illustrated in the videos above.

furthermore, going through that much ammo requires a tremendous amount of strength to carry the ammo in. ammo is fucking heavy, and it also takes up a nontrivial amount of volume. you can even see with these guys, who have a ton of experience, the cycle between shooting and nonshooting has a certain cadence to it. this cadence would be disrupted further by any active shooter that wouldn't have a table conveniently set up with all the magazines and drums ready to be grabbed. all it would take is one person to tackle the perpetrator who will not be able to use the long gun in close combat.

fully auto weapons only work if you're shooting at a herd of people gathered together. after the first volley, they will scatter. i'd be far more concerned with someone having access to proper burst fire mode, or much more likely someone using household chemicals you can buy at any home depot to create an explosive device.

of course, a criminal by definition will not obey laws, so outlawing this or that is useless. they will find a way. none of these MSM mass shootings have been legit. the vast majority of gun crime is committed with handguns, generally minority on minority so it's not even reported.

the lack of knowledge, experience, logic, and reasoning with all this shit is quite disheartening to those of us that have it. you can't reason with unreasonable people, you cannot discuss intellectually with those without an intellect.
