"Earlier this week, YouTube took down a video from one of Infowars' channels. It was one of many videos out there claiming that students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are not in fact students and school shooting survivors, but are instead paid "crisis actors." The video, which was titled "David Hogg Can't Remember His lines In TV Interview," was removed by YouTube from the Alex Jones Channel on Wednesday and the platform said it violated its policies against harassment. CNN now reports that this qualifies as one strike against the Infowars channel and if it gets two more within a three-month period, the channel will be terminated."
OMG these are scary times , the enemy is all around us

I would full boycott it if Alex’s channel was removed.

he's received strikes before.
dude makes too much money, yet hasn't set up his own tube site? he's got the resources and enough followers, why wouldn't he do that? i understand the whole `fight the enemy on their territory` thing but youtube has been failing for years. he could easily put short lil things up there like a summary and link to the full video on his tube. why wouldn't he want to encourage his viewers to also create similar content? ego issues? doesn't want to be exposed for censoring stuff himself?

Starting a video hosting platform and doing it the right way would be pretty costly.
Of course anything which is popular on the internet front (social media sites, vid upload sites) should be some of the first things that InfoWars attempts to start its own brand of.
But the attackers are ALWAYS looking for a new way to royally attack. I think that a video upload platform would be a problem for them.
They don't do too well at running a message board either...
I tried to join the InfoWars message board like a year ago and they never approved my account.
I dunno, it's kind of unbelievable they have a message board (maybe it doesn't even exist anymore, no idea) but it's pretty clear they have some pretty extreme vetting going on and you can't even get in... so maybe that's how they 'control it'.
They've got too much on their plate...
Alex Jones can't save the fucking world. Somebody needs to start a video platform as their sole fucking purpose in life.

i've been wanting to test out d.tube / steemit but they have not approved my account. it's annoying signing up for shit these days, too many sites want to load up javascript for umpteen different domains and i'm not about to just let them run code as they please. they also wanted to txt me, which is curious. their blockchain based comment system is fascinating.

Did you not already have a Steemit account?

I have heard sometimes they never approve some usernames.
I think when I applied for my Steemit account they approved like 2 days later.

if it was due to the username i was trying, i'm not sure why they'd reject gnoasis. are they not a fan of portmanteaus? :( i was even using my domain's email, i was gonna take down the shitty WP holding page and transfer real pages up.

Well if you just submitted it today, definitely give it a few days before you suspend hope. LOL. As for populating your site, fucking DOOO ITTT. Everyone needs their own site, this is where it's all going in the future... like it used to be. Everybody will have their own sites. It's gonna be the "new" cool thing to do.

Starting a new platform and forcing eager people to wait... That´s pretty amateurish.
Unless of course it´s because of hardware and/or bandwidth limitations.
