With the animal kingdom, particularly birds.
They understand everything we communicate...
ESPECIALLY that which is strongly tied to emotion.
They have our backs.
The very least we could do is take care of them and their world. (Side note to my OP point, but it had to be said.)
I have a totally new understanding and confidence about how strong this connection really is...
Now I know.

And it's hard to explain that concept, because the discussion of what is 'right' and what is 'wrong' is so extensive.
But it's just a knowing. You know when it's 'right', and so do they...

When I am out shooting landscapes, and everything is in sync, an unseen force does the photography for me-I am not consciously aware of what I am shooting till I get home days later and see it on the computer :) I have had these synced autopilot "lock-ins" many times, kinda similar feeling.

I had this the other day when I was taking off to take a load to the prison, all these fucking crows were up on the power pole going spastic. My mate was like staring at them and laughing I swear it was around 50 of the buggers all going crazy.
