I'm not sexually attracted to the sun per se, but sunbathing makes me feel sexy and I get horny after being in the sun all day.

I have read it is the Vitamin D or something, but I think there is more to it.

Not sure what it is--life force, energy, all the above?

Yeah same here I sunbake nude just for the Vit D. Especially in winter when the Sun is shining like when its setting it gets bright I find a spot and bake.
But you should only do 15 mins each side in direct sunlight or you risk melanoma.

Sunlight is more about the chlorophyll though steam and saunas more about asphyxiation.
UV radiation gives your cells a charge.

Yes! That makes me kind of horny too. I think I like the sauna more than the steam room, I like the smell of it and being naked and sweaty. 

But I am terribly afraid of these rooms and being locked into one accidentally or on purpose. People have died that way!

Yes that's perfect..15 minutes each side a day is great. 

Sometimes I want more despite the melanoma risk. When I am out in the sun for a few hours, it is like taking a very powerful aphrodisiac.

Don't be scared the timber they use is very weak easy to kick open. It smells so nice though. Many have a safety system in them anyway that releases the door lock after a certain pressure.
