I define involuntary thoughts as thoughts which just spring up seemingly out of nowhere...
Thoughts from the lower brain, the 'automatic' brain. The reptilian brain perhaps.
Hard to pinpoint exactly where they originate, but they definitely don't come from the 'regular' brain which thinks the thoughts you can 100% say, yeah, that came from a place within me that I initiated and have complete control over.
Sometimes I have naughty involuntary thoughts and I have to tell them "shhh"...
Dirty thoughts.
Lately the involuntary thoughts have been, "I want to do dirty dirty things."
Now that there is a sexual thought.
The other thought, which I just had and which prompted me to make this thread was "Dirty dirty sex."
What I find interesting about these thoughts is the double "dirty". Why is the word dirty in there twice?

The involuntary thoughts are loud sometimes as well. I find that my 'regular' brain thoughts never vary in volume, but the involuntary thoughts do.

I mean it IS pretty nasty, you're just rubbing private areas all over eachother in your bodily fluids and stuff, that's pretty dirty.

stuff like this makes me think there is a GOD , where do our thoughts come from ? .... its like they are zapped into our heads and why do we have so much guilt feelings about sex ?
i have so many dirty dirty thoughts its ridiculous , we are all harvey's i think

Yeah but can you differentiate the 'regular' sex related thoughts from the ones that come from out of nowhere...
It's basically impossible to explain, I get that.
I dunno, just wondering if anyone else experiences the 'out of nowhere' thoughts which basically feel like they 'bypass' the 'gatekeeper'.

My cat 9yo on heat, just attacked me for no reason.
Its to do with chemical electrical bonds of cells electrons and protons and whether any "God" thing controls that or not is unknown.
But one thing that is known is that a "God" created the process.

I'd like to bump this thread and raise awareness about involuntary thoughts, random phrases and words that pop into your head out of nowhere (absolutely nowhere, for absolutely no apparent reason whatsoever)...
These should be examined when they come up. Nothing is without meaning.

the only thing thats been kinda haunting me is aliens, artificial intelligence, and most of all.... humanity.
Yes i have been monitoring my involuntary thoughts and it seems i get tons of them so i look to whats around me at that moment , maybe our 5 senses provide the input ...scents and sounds stir up memories

I had a very strange (as in random) statement pop into my mind lastnight, which prompted me to bump this thread.
I examined it for a while an concluded that it could have been someone’s thought about me, which I received over the aether.
It still didn’t really make any sense though... I don’t know ANYONE out there who would have any reason to be thinking that about me.

I feel like there is truth in the statement that things of the mind rise up out of the heart, or the seat of emotions, which I think could be loosely defined as one’s “will”.
So if you notice that you are thinking dirty thoughts, those thoughts are likely rising up out of some part of your will. I’m not sure random thoughts can enter one’s mind. They have to come from somewhere. They have to have an origin.
Sometimes I have bIzzare unpleasant thoughts. Like thoughts of wanting to do things that I don’t want to do in real life. Like if I walk close to a ledge of something, I get freaked out because I start thinking of jumping, which I know for sure that I don’t want to do. I’ve read about such self-destructive intrusive thoughts and some research suggests that this is actually a protective measure in our minds that scares us with the reality of doing something foolish or dangerous, so our minds are awakened to the danger at hand. I’m not sure how that would play out in a sex situation though, unless you are deeply afraid of whatever you are imagining.

I think we can pick up thoughts from other people, with distance being completely irrelevant.
You think we can - how can you support that assertion?
Sometimes the answers are much more simple than they seem, and much less crazy than we may want to make them be.

I'd like to see you support the assertion that they CAN'T come from outside of us.
You can't.
I prefaced my statement with the word “sometimes”... and did not make a judgemental stance on your particular assertion.
What can be known to humans? That which we sense. If knowledge of a particular thing is arising to a level of awareness in your mind, I suggest that it is there because it’s something you are sensible of. You have knowledge of it, and you are actively considering the thoughts, regardless of how random or strange they may seem.
How you, me and anyone else in the world reacts to their thoughts is a different matter, but one of important consideration.

DRD4-R7 Gene is associated with many peculiar psychiatricly classified "disorders", somewhat thought to be known as the travellers gene. ADD ADHD BiPolar, and more, it makes sense that such w oils likely be a result of modern lifestyle , that because they went so long as travellers, they got their dopamine from the necessity of constant awareness, survival depending on it. And yes, telepathy is not "reading someone's mind", its the opposite, only by awareness does one know whether or not the tgought is theirs. For instance, you have a problem and you conclude your thoughts on the issue, then out of the blue you have a tgought that completely contradicts said conclusion, that's not your thought.
The DRD4-R7 gene is linked with telepathy, and actually a whole list of tendencies, I'll let you dig.
If you want to know if your telepathic, the best way is to do it by keeping a journal of random thoughts regarding people. Say you view a particular person as honest, but all the sudden you get a tgought that they are dishonest, out of the blue, write it down. These will serve as cues, not proof of telepathy, this type of experiment takes time, but eventually your common sense will tell you if that person views you as dishonest.
Now I am not saying all telepathy is schizophrenic, I never looked in to severe schizophrenia and I imagine some people are just wacked out of their minds.
