Now Mumkey's only hope is making a site and driving his Patreon audience to it...

I personally have loaded the Patreon website once in the past year: when I deleted my (totally unused) account.

Anyone staying strictly to Patreon is losing.

Absolutely losing.

If Mumkey's smart, he'll spend this time he's still allowed on Patreon to guide everyone to his personal website.

Which is utter bullshit.

But even if it were true, it's a recipe for the total death of YouTube AND the loss of money for advertisers.

They're going to make YouTube a TV based app.

My guess is regular websites will eventually be blocked from viewing (somehow) on these 'smart' devices.

And it's yet another reason why I see a mass rejection of 'smart' devices in the future.

It's bothersome they seem to be using Elliot Rodger as a scapegoat for this behavior...

This seems to be the conclusion those targeted have come to.

shrug

I just find that hard to believe...

But if it becomes more blatant and apparent that they really are targeting Elliot Rodger material, I might have to contemplate the meaning behind that.

I just think he was used as an excuse in these peoples' specific cases and I actually think there were people at YouTube with a personal vendetta toward Mumkey.
