With varying degrees of decimation at the end of each persona.
None of the personas ever die entirely...
It's a conglomerate.
But now I see just how many lives can be lived, and in what surprisingly short yet infinitely fulfilling timeframes.
It's a relief, for someone who used to view time and life as "short".
I see where I am in progression and that there are still many lives left to live, but ironically, the time which it takes will be a fraction of what most people spend being just one person.

While the answer to your question is yes, it's never an accident...
Everything that happens in life is agreed upon before we embody in the earth plane.
Even the most shittastic experiences...
Our higher dimensional aspects chose the circumstances that we experience, just like choosing attributes of your character in a video game.
It's all for entertainment, learning, and experience.
We are all one consciousness, and reality is an illusion of separation.
We embody on the earth plane so that we can enjoy the illusion of being separate, and have fun with 'individual' aspects of ourselves.
