TL;DR, Doreen has found Jesus and decided that tarot/oracle cards, mediumship, and 'ascended masters' are bad and wrong.
She says she is giving all money from her oracle card sales to charity and will no longer be releasing cards.
There is some speculation that the "charity" is actually the farm she lives on. Apparently she has taken donations from her viewerbase in the past under sketchy pretenses surrounding her farm.
Doreen says the was in a carjacking in the 90s which she had a 'voice' warn her about before it happened. Then during the incident she said she heard the voice again which told her to scream as loud as possible, and that she did and scared the guys away and it saved her life.
She said she's "here today because of the angels"... she said this carjacking incident was what drove her to research angels and messages from angels. And she says she's always had 'clairvoyance'. So she's explaining how her life lead up to making tarot/oracle cards etc.
Circa 8:00 she tries to explain that her oracle cards are NOT tarot cards, they are messages from angels. So she wants to make a STRICT differentiation between tarot and oracle cards.
Of course that's true, tarot is based on an ancient card game with the suits and the ... spades and hearts and all that crap. It's just been updated and expanded on throughout the years. Oracle cards are just messages, they're not based on the original tarot/suits dealio. But now the terms 'tarot' and 'oracle cards' are interchangeable and most people just call it all tarot because it's easier.
Damn this is a long video, LOL.
But I feel like Doreen is totally coming from the heart in this video. I feel like she really has had this experience that changed her life. I feel like she's being honest and I kinda feel sorry for her. Not because I think she's crazy or something. It just seems like ... she's kinda been adrift for most of her life or something. And she's clinging onto things and trying to hold on super hard. It's interesting.
I dunno, I think she's pure of heart. That is not to say she isn't totally confused, perhaps a bit broken inside.
She should allow the cards to continue being produced though, she shouldn't take that away... that was a lot of work she put in and it was done for a reason. It's wrong to deny that and take it away. That's the only bad thing about this and the only way that she's wrong. She's wrong because she would be taking away tools of progression for other people.
Doreen even quotes the Bible saying "By your fruits you shall know them"... those oracle cards were her fruits. It was part of her journey and her destiny. For her to deny them is straight up erroneous.
27:23 Doreen says she was "going to tarot for the answers, instead of going to God". Holy crap, I can't believe I just heard this out of a woman who's made like 20 tarot decks. Let me just try to remain calm and understand where the fuck she's coming from with this.
Tarot/oracle cards are cardstock with meaningful message and imagery printed on them. You think of an issue and then pull cards randomly which are supposed to shed some light on the issue. It's a way to think about things from different angles. It's a way to bypass the conscious mind and pull interpretations of out the subconscious mind. Using cards with symbolism and meaningful phrases. That's it. That's all it is.
Why is Doreen trying to differentiate between intuitive understanding, and communications from God? Who's to say they aren't the same damn thing?? Does Doreen honestly not realize this??
Or is she saying that she thinks the tools aren't needed and that we should just be using solid intuition? Is she now considering intuition to be communication from God??
What's the big deal with the cards then if the messages are coming from the same place?? Why the differentiation??
It really seems like going from an open-minded, non-religious mentality to a closed-minded religious mentality is a massive downgrade.
31:14 she again speaks like 'contemplating' on the meaning behind a random card, and 'messages from God' are two different things. WHAT THE FUCK!? How can she really be saying this?! It makes no sense!!!

Doreen should be asking WHY "sorcery, fortune telling and divination" are forbidden in the Bible. Sounds to me like it's forbidden because they don't want you getting answers from INTUITION, they want you getting answers from a proxy, a 'higher being' than yourself... as a CONTROL MECHANISM.
I CANNOT BELIEVE she doesn't get that. It's ASTOUNDING.
I think it's really strange... she even mentioned channeling and has denounced that.
Channeling is just interpreting "outside energy" through your own filter... it's closed-minded to believe that channeling is wrong, it's ignorant to believe that. It shows that you don't freaking understand what it even is. And somebody like Doreen should understand, after all these years and after it being her PROFESSION!!!
I am not talking shit about Doreen. I wish her the best. It's just... odd.
