It's not sad since he was pretty old, I mean he had a very full life, created a ton, inspired countless people.

But it is a reminder of how many people Saturn takes when he rolls through his home sign (Capricorn)...

Of course it's never surprising when the elderly get plucked, but this 'season' has taken many who were surprising.
