I think what's really freaky about Richard is that he can deliver these creepy stalker lines with the same look and conveyance of wholesome purity that was required of a role like John-Boy. That's the twisted part, that's what really gets me.

That fact that he was put in these kind of roles just goes to prove how many people must have been wildly in love with Richard re: his portrayal of John-Boy back in the day. Kinda blows my mind.
