Devote your time and energy to yourself...
Your own business, your own websites, your own home, your own possessions and projects in general...
People are absolutely ungrateful, selfish trash and will almost never honor your time and energy.
If you leave something in someone else's hands, or you give your creative energy to someone else, they're almost certain to destroy it and you give them permission to do so by giving them any power whatsoever.
Furthermore, it's better to live a totally selfish life, looking out for only yourself, your own interests, and everything you want/need/desire than it is to devote any time or energy on someone else's life pursuits.
If you have to choose, choose yourself.
