I think Zane can ultimately survive and take care of himself, but he'll have to choose to do that...
If his wife dies, he may give up and say fuck it all, and he himself may die as well.
The best case scenario for Zane could ultimately be putting himself first.
Should we blame him for that?

But haters will cuz haters want nothing more than to kick people when they're down, because at the core of it, some of those haters are legitimately evil pieces of shit.
