I really wonder...
If the internet had existed during the time of the 1918 Spanish Flu, what sort of things would have been said about it?
How similar would the situation be?
For a virus like 2019-nCoV to come along and cause "mild" symptoms, then kill suddenly...
Reminds me of reports from 1918 saying that people would suddenly become ill and die within the space of ~12 hours.
