This has only been going on for a few months...
We have never seen adequate proof that anyone who catches it ever permanently recovers, we have not seen proof that it isn't a retrovirus...
If kids do catch it, they may not get sick from it immediately, but if it's a retrovirus they will stay infected with it just like everyone else and it could cause them serious problems in the future.
Enough time has not elapsed for us to know the long term effects of this virus.
