I remember that. Seems like somewhere in-between [late 90's - early 00's]
that Goth, Punk and Metal chicks sorta-kinda started this weird morph into
a new, hybridized kind of thing. Their look, I mean. So Goth started looking
more punk and metal. Hence: Suicide Girls. [Whom I have great fondness for.]
But yeah, the ink work should be minimal, like a whisper. It more effectively
draws you in that way. And it just looks better.
