Yeah, there were many "adults" in my childhood who helped shape my worldview. My dad knocked up my mom when they were dating, I wasn't planned. Back then getting married is what you did when you got pregnant. My dad was a Vietnam veteran with severe undiagnosed PTSD. No one really even understood that stuff back then. When he started becoming abusive my mom bolted when I was 3. I've learned to laugh at almost everything. It may come off as callous to others, but I find the world is best viewed as a comedy. If you can learn to laugh off even the hurtful/tragic things it makes life easier.
