Spiders are apparently most dangerous if you reach into a dark, rarely touched area of the home/space and they attack you.
There's also the scenario of catching one crawling on you, freaking out and getting into a confrontation with it that ends in a bite.
And the third most common situation seems to be walking barefoot on the carpet/floor in the middle of the night and being bitten that way.

Yeah, I mean, sometimes all these situations are hard to avoid. Things happen.
But I feel like, generally, extreme fear of spiders (in this part of the world) is a bit unwarranted and in a way, it's sort of ignorance... which is never good.
