I find a lot of 'good looking' stars that hook up just make average looking new humans

it can work but I think it requires the same sort of approach the soviets used in their sports programs matching up athletes where you aren't necessarily putting the two top prospects together to mate but the combination of attributes results in a 'better' offspring
