It's what I live by.
I live by the truth.
Does that mean that the truth has to be delivered so bluntly and harshly, with no care for other peoples' feelings??
No, of course not.
The truth can be delivered with much care, finesse, and in fact, it's an art to deliver the truth in a way which spares the feelings of others.
Alas, it is not an art I practice.
