You can have it both ways Mo. Lake Havasu, etc. Desert and big water...just not
as pretty as those blue green aqua waters off the coast of Newfoundland.

Or...

Chill. In an Antarctic summer down there in a connected series of bunkers and research stations. 
You could make sandwiches for the scientists. Those pretty clear nights with those stars and only the
howl of wind.
