The American west really likes Zane.
Those places over in AZ, CA?
They like him a lot.
Zane had a ton of friends there crawling out of the woodwork at every point and turn.
It was even true in more easterly areas of AZ.
There are a lot of people out there in that area who like Zane, and I think the geography itself is partial to him.
I think Zane has a few ultimate dreams...
Some Alaska shit, probably. Some tropical island shit too. There are a few things that I think really sing to Zane's soul...
None of which interest me even remotely.
Personally, I could never care less about Alaska, about tropical islands, about boats...
Don't care at all.
But I can get behind some cowboy action.
What destiny sees Zane living the longest and the healthiest though?
If it's an Alaskan destiny, or a tropical island/boat/ship destiny, then fine...
But we are obviously not there right now, and what is the path to get there?
Being a fucking cowboy, that's the path.
How does it work out? How does one lead to the other? No idea.
At the end of the day, you gotta go with what feels right and what brings energy/life/zest...
And I really don't think hanging out in patchy wilderness on the edge of major cities is the answer.
Every man for himself...
Zane has to survive as a stand-alone unit. There's nothing wrong with Zane doing what's best for Zane.
And the truth of the matter seems to be that Zane is a hobo.
So if he's gonna be a hobo, he at least better do it right and commit to doing it right.
