I loved M*A*S*H so much that I actually bought every season on VHS with Christmas money.

Oh, I loved M*A*S*H! I've seen every episode at least once.

My mom was a nurse. It was her favorite show. She also had a funny book, which I read, called The House of God by Dr. Samuel Shem. Years later, most of the plots and jokes in the book were stolen by a sitcom called Scrubs.

... I remember being very much against DVDs on principle....

The first generation DVDs were horrid. Very poor color depth for a shiny new hi tech format. I wondered why anyone would prefer them over Laserdisc.
