If not outright civil war, then the globalists are almost certainly trying to gin up widespread civil unrest with their constant divisive rhetoric. They need a real or imagined existential crisis that can only be resolved by force of arms.
They apparently do not care that their MSM mouthpieces are losing viewers and revenue hand over fist. The news media are not their bread and butter. These people are wealthy beyond imagining, so it's not about money anymore. It's about power and control.
As another example of how they'll sacrifice short-term profitability for long-term goals, look at the economic effects of the Wuhan coronavirus hoax. Corporations are surviving while small businesses are failing. Even if the corporations are experiencing revenue shortfalls, they can afford to lose money for awhile. They'll be making all of the money when they're the only ones left standing.
The end game is a system of corporate-style governance, where the regime is more like an HR department than a government accountable to the governed. When you get called into HR, you do not have due process. You probably won't even know you've been accused until after guilt and punishment have been decided.
