I think it's probably in levels. I'm not well versed with the in's & out's of the acting profession but
you're probably stonewalled until you get your SAG card. Then, you climb the disgusting ladder
by doing whatever you're told by people like Weinstein and worse!
Then, when you're commanding $20M a movie, it's safe to say you've shaken all the necessary cloven
hooves along the way to secure your place in that world. UNTIL, you step outside the lines or disobey.
I'm sure Randy Quaid has some stories.
