it was not a bug or an exploit that was utilized, it was built-in functionality. it was not used by those who designed, implemented, run, and maintain those systems.

the owners wouldn't out their system. took billions of pilfered funds and years of deployment. destroys brands. normally, they pain the picture of evil hackerz finding some ridiculous and nearly impossible flaw, or some form of brute force against the experts. this incident paints the experts as chumps. it calls into question the competence of them and those that hired them.
